This toolbar allows you to change the capture device that is associated with the currently active window and specify basic settings of the device.
This combo box allows you to change the capture device that is associated with the currently active window. The combo box list contains the currently active capture device and all devices that have not been opened so far.
If the video capture device supports video norms, this combo box allows you to select one. Some frame grabbers provide an auto-sensing mechanism to determine the video norm of the attached analog video source. In this case, video norm selection is not supported. If a frame grabber is used that supports video norm selection, the video norm matching the analog video source should be selected, otherwise the grabber might not be able to digitize an image.
Digital cameras like FireWire DCAM cameras do not provide video norm selection
This combo box allows the video format to be specified, which will be used by the capture device to produce images. The video format defines the width and height and the pixel format of the images generated by the capture device. Therefore, the video format has an important impact on the bandwidth that is used by an image stream generated by a capture device.
If available, this button allows you to select a binning factor.
Some frame grabbers provide multiple inputs. This combo box allows you to specify the input that will be the active one.
Digital cameras, such as FireWire DCAM cameras do not provide multiple inputs.
This combo box allows you to specify the number of frames (images) per second that are sent out by the capture device. Besides the Video Format, this is the second factor defining the bandwidth that is used by an image stream generated by a capture device.
This button allows the image to be flipped vertically.
This button allows the image to be flipped horizontally.
