Save Image to Image Sequence
This command saves the currently displayed image to the image sequence.
This command is available in
The
parameters of the image sequence can be setup, using the Sequence Settings Dialog.
The name that will be used for the image file
seen in the box "Next Sequence Image" is
located in the Image Sequence Bar.
There are two modes for this command that are
determined by the property Snap Before Saving:
-
"Display Saved Image" enabled:
In this mode, the command Snap Image is executed
automatically. If a live display is running, the command "Save Image to Image
Sequence" stops it, because Snap Image is executed
prior to saving the image. Therefore, the image that was recently saved to the
sequence is displayed in the device window until the command "Save Image to
Image Sequence" is executed again.
-
"Display Saved Image" disabled:
In this mode, the image that is currently displayed will be saved to the
sequence. If the live display is running, the image is saved that was displayed
the very moment the command "Save Image to Image Sequence" was executed. There
is no way to check which image was saved because the live display remains
running. If the live display is not running, the user has to determine the
image to be saved by using the Snap Image command
or starting and stopping the live display Live
command.
Executing the "Save Image to Image Sequence" command more than once without
grabbing a new image will save the same image multiple times.
